Patrick (Pat) F. Moore

El Paso High School, Class of 1962

Pat Moore graduated from El Paso High School in 1962, where he ranked in the top 10% of his class, served as Drum Major of the band, and was honored as All-EPHS Boy.

He attended the University of Texas and Texas Western College before joining the Naval Reserve in 1965. From 1968 to 1969, he served in Da Nang, Vietnam, and continued with 29 more years of active duty. During his military career, he completed a B.A. in Business at Columbia College (Dean’s List) and graduated from the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy.

Pat retired in 1998 as a Master Chief Petty Officer, earning multiple decorations, including three Presidential Meritorious Service Medals.

Following his military career, he worked for 15 years in Silicon Valley, California, before returning home to El Paso, where he now enjoys a well-earned retirement.
