Amada S. “Muddie” Flores
El Paso High School – Class of 1963

In an industry where few women sought success, Amada S. Flores took a small investment, combined it with determination and a strong work ethic, and built a multi-million-dollar construction firm. Her entrepreneurial spirit thrived through the businesses she founded and grew.
As Founder, President, and CEO of MST Consulting, Inc., dba AIM Construction, Inc., Amada not only led her company but also gave back to her community and friends. Her achievements were widely recognized: in 2010 she was honored by Maj. Gen. James L. Terry with a certificate for outstanding workmanship and renovation at Fort Bliss. That same year, AIM Construction was named a Future 15 Company by the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In 2012, she was named Minority Contractor of the Year, and in 2013, her firm was awarded Texas Minority Business of the Year.
Amada’s love for her alma mater, El Paso High School—“The Lady on the Hill”—was a defining part of her life. In 2015, she was honored as an EPHS Outstanding Ex. She served two terms as President of the EPHS Alumni Association, where she spearheaded the restoration of the old custodial house on campus into the EPHS Alumni Historic Museum. Thanks to her tireless fundraising and construction efforts, the project became a reality. She also played a key role in planning the EPHS Centennial Celebration, working tirelessly with others to raise funds through the Centennial Tile sales.
Amada was, in every sense, a Tiger at heart.
